Executive Development Program

What is executive development program?

Executive development does not only emphasize on job performance improvement but also on the knowledge, personality, attitude, behaviourism of an executive. This indicates that this program focuses more on the executive’s personal growth, particularly on his/her performance and behaviour. Executive development helps to understand the cause and effect relationship, synthesize from experience, visualize relationships, or think logically. In this knowledge era, labour management relations are becoming increasingly complex. Hence, job and behavioural skills are equally important for managers in dealing with union negotiations, collective bargaining, grievance redressal, and many others. These skills can be obtained and learned through a number of training and development programmes. Besides, in the competitive business environment, an organization needs to widen its pool of executives who have strong leadership potential to be future managers. The organization ought to retain only the BEST talents. These talented human resources need to be continuously trained and developed to meet future challenges.
